my bet... NOT solved. i just deleted the more of the DB and the shipping calculation stopped working... now, i need to figure out what i need to delete/edit in the DB to get these warnings away

Might be better to hire someone who is familiar with database coding to sort the problem out for you. Best place I can think to start is asking the person who created the module.
