a) Admin->Modules->Order Total->ot_gv -- click Remove
b) Admin->Modules->Order Total->ot_coupon -- click Remove
c) Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Newsletter Unsubscribe Link -- set to False

2. Admin->Tools->Layout Boxes Controller-> tpl_search_header ->Edit -- turn Off.

I have another issue, maybe you can help?
In the Information Box, I have created a CUSTOM folder in html_includes and created all my "conditions" "Privacy" etc.
They all work fine. However, for some reason, the "Shipping & Returns" "Gift Cert FAQ" and "Newsletter Unsubscribe" both of which I made no edits on, when opened causes the entire page to shift right severely. All other pages don't shift.

I think you can change that in Admin->Configuration->Define Pages

Hi all Zen Carters,
Running Ver 1.3.9d with DB upgrade patch to 1.3.9f.
I copied page_2.php to my \includes\languages\english\CUSTOM folder, changed header and page title (line 23 & 24). When uploaded to same folder on server, changes were not implemented. So, I changed the original. Why wouldn't changes in 'custom' show up on site?
Next, the changes did appear on Page 2 itself, but not in the Sitemap. How do you remove page 2, page 3 and page 4 from showing up in the sitemap? I have "more information" in the sidebox off, so "more information" with those files don't appear in the sidebox. Why do they keep showing up in my sitemap still listed as "page 2" despite the fact that I changed "page_2.php" line 23 & 24 to "New Content" ? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I think you can change that in Admin->Configuration->Define Pages

This is not working for me. The pages still on the dropdown (define pages editor) and on the Site Map.

I also tried with classic template in case was a template issue.

I also tried deleting the pages and was unsuccessful.

Thanks stevesh, that made the trick. Funny the one correct is the one she posted first. The best option (even not knowing programming" is if you say "EQUAL to 1", so the links will appear ONLY if you set that to true. That's what I did and worked just fine.
