    When I go to Admin>Configuration>Sitemap xml> I get this:

    Right? Wrong? bacon?

So now that I've got this addon installed...

What do I do? I don't see a magic button that will create a sitemap or provide a link to this elusive file that google is so desperate to have.

Help me out here folks. I'm trying to figure this out but really don't know what to do now.

I've done a search through this thread for the word CREATE and none of the results told me how to actually create the applicable file.
Make sure you have rename the admin folder to the custom folder name that you are using when uploading to your sever. Make sure you have rename includes/templates/template_default to the custom folder name that you are using when uploading to your sever.

Okay, I did miss renaming the Template_default to the same name as the template i'm using (Darkness).

    Thanks!

But I'm still lost as to how to actually create the actual Sitemap file.

Go to Admin->Configuration->Google Sitemap Configuration and setup all parameters making sure you set the Use Existing Files to false.
    Go to Admin->Tools>Google XML Sitemap (If error messages occur, change permissions on the XML files to 777);

You can specify the location of the Sitemap using a robots.txt file. To do this, simply add the following line:
    Sitemap: http://<your shop>/sitemapindex.xml

When you go to Admin->Tools>Google XML Sitemap you should see this, if not you still do not have your files in the right place.

    OVERVIEW:
This module automatically generates several XML Google compliant site maps for your Zen-Cart store: a main site map, one for categories, one for products, and one for EZ-pages.
    INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Click [HERE] to create / update your site map.
NOTE: Please ensure that you or your web developer has registered with Google, Yahoo! and Ask.com SiteMaps, and submitted your initial site map before proceeding to step 2.
STEP 2: Click [HERE] to notify crawler of the update to your XML sitemap.
CURL is used for communication with the crawlers, so must be active on your hosting server (if you need to use a CURL proxy, set the CURL proxy settings under Admin->Configuration->My Store.)

    Using Zen Cart 1.3.9h.

Having read the readme file I installed this module and admin/configured it. Then went to admin/tools and found there was no reference there to sitemap.

Have read all 62 pages of this forum and found several other people have had the same problem without a solution. Re-checked, and then checked again, that all my files were in the right place.

Google is telling me my sitemap is blank.

Given up. It should be far more straight forward than this. Have now deleted the module.

    Pitty!

    Crap...still not right.

I went back ththrough all the folders and made sure that I copied the contents to the correct folders.

Copied the cgi-bin folder to my Public_HTML folder

Renamed the Admin folder to match the name of my admin folder.
Copied all of the remaing files to my Public_HTLM folder.
Copied the contents of the Install.SQL file to Admin>Tools>Install SQL Patches and clicked "Send" then got a message on top of the admin page that said "22 Statements Processed."

Back to Admin>Configuration> Sitemap XML and changed Use Existing files from "True" to False". I didn't change anything else at this point.

Back to Admin>Tools>SitemapXML> and all I get is this:
    TEXT_SITEMAPXML_OVERVIEW_HEAD TEXT_SITEMAPXML_OVERVIEW_TEXT TEXT_SITEMAPXML_INSTRUCTIONS_HEAD TEXT_SITEMAPXML_INSTRUCTIONS_STEP1 TEXT_SITEMAPXML_INSTRUCTIONS_STEP2
    TEXT_SITEMAPXML_LOGIN_HEAD
    TEXT_SITEMAPXML_LOGIN

I have a custom name for my ADMIN FOLDER and renamed the Admin folder in this add-on to match that name.

    Serious,
Please post back how many modules you have installed before this module..
You have to use winmerge to munge .php files that touch each other..

    yep, saw those, did that....

    Still not working.

Will running the uninstall.sql remove this add-on or will I still need to manually remove the files?
