Banner in Header Position 1 not showing properly?

Hello,

I've just added a banner in the 'Header Position 1' spot.

(Haven't used this spot for over a year but when I did it worked the way I expected. The "banner" showed up on ALL pages.)

Can someone tell me why this new banner, added today, DOESN'T show up on the main page or any top (or sub) level category pages? It does show on EZ Pages, Contact Us, etc. AND on the actual Product pages.

I was expecting it to be on every page (like last time).

Are you using, in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... the Banners

Configuration | Layout Settings |
Banner display Groups - Header Position 1 = very_top

This matches the "Group" I chose in
Tools | Banner Manager

Is that what you mean?

The image is there ... it is behind your logo ... so something might be wrong in your template or something ...

Well, that IS strange! Thanks for noticing that, Ajeh. I'm open, if you have any suggestions, since it somehow seems to be related to the display of categories (plus the home page).

Anyway, thanks again, I'll go back to the think tank awhile.

Switch to the Classic Template ... does it show right? If so, compare your template files to the Classic Template and Template Default files to see what might be different ...

I tried switching to the "Classic" template and yes, it shows up. Hmm. Guess we have some comparing to do.

Hello! I'm new to Zen Cart. Just downloaded onto my server last week. I am running PHP5. For some reason I have not been able to get the slider images to display on the home page of my site. I am using a template and customizing it. The banner images appear to be in the correct folder at includes-->images. I also even copied it to includes--templates---templateXXX--->images. Any suggestions? Not sure what I'm missing.
