well I got it working but not without some bugs...
anyone here would know how I could get the page to refresh after facebook connects?
I need to manually refresh the page... wish there was a way to get it to auto refresh or go to a page that welcomes them..

Since plenty of people are trying it, surely someone could take the time to explain what it does, if that is not too much trouble

well since social networking is so big now this takes advantage of it
if you have a facebook page and you advertise on facebook you want to make it easier for your customers to buy from you
this allows your customers that have facebook to log in using their facebook account and that information gets copied to your database allowing them to have a true guest account
no need to enter their DOB or email or mailing address... (if facebook has it then with this app you have it)
to sum everything up its just to make it easier for your customers to buy from you

anyhow I finally got it working... i had another script on my common template that mixed with this script... once i commented out the one from common this one worked. plus the SQL code needs a bit of editing. im sure if you take a good look at it and compare it with another code you will figure it out. also the php command that goes on the template login file is missing ' '
besides that this code works as expected.
If anyone wants I will post a detailed fix to get this mod to work but if there is very little demand then there is no point...

Question:
It seems like this is a very powerful tool, but as is we're only using it for logins rather than for advertising.

The coding as is, sets permissions to give access to the login users friends list, ability to post on the users walls.

Is there a way to make so that the once a customer purchases a product we can post a message and link on the users wall like "John Doe just purchased Product A from ZenCartSite.com"

or

Is there a way to send a message to the users friends "John Doe Recommend's using ZenCartSite App with ZenCartSite.com"

See I would like to create an incentive using the fconnect login by offering promo codes to those that do, and tradeoff would be social media advertising.

when trying to install the sql file. not working with installing it from zen cart admin panel and not from the B admin panel.

i have a problem after agree to connect with the app im getting a blank screen.

im using 1.3.9b , with godaddy servers and db.

what is the problem? and how to fix it?

thi doesnt work for me.. all i get is

NOTE: Zen Cart database-upgrade scripts should NOT be run from this page.
Please upload the new zc_install folder and run the upgrade from there instead for better reliability.

i'm using the latest version on zencart.
