    Default Product Attribute Question.. an easy one I hope..

    Hi, firstly thanks to all the experts.. I've been trawling the forums, wikis and faq pages and have found everything I needed up until now.

    My problem is to do with pricing my products based on attributes.

    As our products are priced by color and then by size, I have devised the simplest way is to break down to per litre value and use that as a base.

    Eg.

    Yellow = $75 for 1L $288 for 4L
    Green = $65 for 1L $248 for 4L
    and so on..
    The same maths applies to the entire list of products.

    I just cant figure out how to get the pricing set.

    Attributes I am using are Color and Size

    Currently I have the product set up with no price and priced by attribute is set to true.

    Attribute - Color - Yellow is set with a price of 72

    What I am wanting to do is

    a) add $3 to this $72 for the 1L size
    b) multiply the $72 by 4 to come up with the 4L price

    I am hoping this is possible..

    And thanks in advance for any time anyone puts towards helping me find a solution.

    Remove price in the product setup
    Instead set to be priced by attributes

    Make one option NAME - - like Color-Size as a drop box

    Add 5 option values to it

    Please select - default & for display only - sort of 10
    Yellow 1L - sort 20
    Yellow 4L - sort 30
    Green 1L - sort 40
    Green 4L - sort 50

    Add to the product and Price each value as needed

    Thanks!

    Looks like I will need to set up one seperate product per size and then apply the size attribute to the appropriate products in order to allow customers to filter items based on just the size attribute..

    thanks again for your help!
