Better Together 2.3a (July 23, 2010) fixed this for the main module.
You're right, I still had a link to the old zip which I hosted, even though I fixed it in the Zen Cart download area. Bad idea - removed.
And it *was* a bug in Add Both to Cart, which I just fixed.
