If you read the install readme file you will see that you can only edit the define_main_page.php file with a plain text editor. Make sure that option is selected in the admin define pages editor before editing the page as it contains php code and the wysiwyg will corrupt the code.

What I want to know is - How do I remove the following things



This is what I have been trying to remove.
When I remove this, the images in the slide show disappear and I am left with white patches where the slider images are supposed to be.

Also, The demo shows that it is a 3 column display through the readme file online but the layout instructions say it is only 2 column.
Can this happen at all?

If you read the installation instructions you will see that since this page uses php code it must be edited in a plain text editor. Before editing this using the define pages editor be sure that you have selected plain text as the editor.

To remove this just remove all code below the slide show.

The avonlee_contempo_readme.html file describes the template as "Fixed width 2 or 3 column display". Follow step 6, recommended admin settings to make the template a 3 column layout.

Before posting again, please read the detailed readme file.

hi anne, i finally fixed my logo. thanks.

i have another question, are the banner boxes turned off by default? i tried turning on three of them and i inserted test code, but i donnot see any banners on the page.

the three boxes i turned on are: sideboxes/banner_box.php and sideboxes/banner_box_all.php and sideboxes/banner_box2.php

No the banner boxes are not turned off in the template. Make sure that you have them turned on for the correct left or right hand column and see the FAQ's section on this site for tips on adding your own banners.

hi anne when you have a moment, would take a look at my store: www.HempstersStitch.com/store in the black bar area where the contact us is supposed to be displayed i see HEADER_TITLE_CONTACT_US i didn't see this covered in the readme, although i may have missed it.
