I sent another GV to another address and used FireFox ...
I used the link in the email ... created an account ... followed all continue buttons and had no problem getting the GV redeemed to my account ...
Maybe test in IE and see if it works for you just to rule out a browser issue ...

one question...
are you checking out without account or did you create account first and then purchase the gift cert to send out?? Hopefully this will help me narrow it down if different browser doesn't do the trick.

I made an account for the checkout when I bought the GV ...
Then I sent some of the GV balance to another email address ...
I then received an email with a link to redeem the GV and clicked on the link in the email to redeem it ...
That told me to create an account ...
I created the account and it added the GV to my balance in the new account ...

It's not a browser issue. I still cannot go any further than creating account...hit continue...then I'm told I need to create account again.
Hummm...not sure whats going on here. Thanks for trying. I have to see what else I can do to fix this.

You could try killing your cookies for the site and see if that changes things ...

Are you able to log in to that account you created?
And then once you're logged in, are you able to do things with the GV?

Good idea to check ... but no problems logging into the 2nd account that I redeemed the GV from the email and checking out using the GV as part of the payment for the order ...

I need help with the Gift Certificates also. My problem is that when a customer checks out and enters the amount of the GV the total amount of their order increases to a ridiculous amount. The GV is not getting deducted like it should. How do I fix this problem??
