I just updated to 1.3.9h and now most of my 4,000 items have weird formatting issues. I get an Upper Case A all over the place. When I go in and remove the Upper Case A characters, if I do not remove the space in fornt and behind it I get a question mark ? after I save revision. All my quotes and aposthrers are messed up along with the degree symbol and trade marks.
Any way to fix this? It is frustrating and time consuming fixing each one.

I presume these are happening on pages you've editted within the Admin section, either by doing copy & paste of text from another program and/or from the HTML Editor within Zen Cart. Sorry to say but unless someone can provide a better method, you will probably need to Export each Table with the problem, open in a Text Editor on your Computer, do a Search & Replace for all instances, Save and Import the changed Table. I'm not a Database guy so that's the way I would do it.
You will be able to fix future entries by installing TinyMCE or CKEditor, both available from the Add Ons section. Make sure to remove the HTMLarea Editor... and never use it again.

Or, you've switched yourself partly to UTF8 when your site's really ISO-8859-1

I don't quite understand what it is saying I should change? My database is set at utf8_unicode_ci, but there are also instances of latin1_swedish_ci that I see. I just upgraded from 3.9 to 5.1 of Zen Cart. And am having the same issues of the description disappearing and now thos odd charcters showing up all over. **The product name and price have stayed intact however, no problems there. I'm just really confused. Please llet me know if there's anything else I need to let you know to be able to pin point my issue. Thanks.
