New zen-cart.com

Hi,

Just a quick message to say that the new site works (and looks) much better, I'm glad to see it, well done!

In other news, I was intending to upload about 10/11 module updates over the next few days, including fixing problems in some other people's modules (which I was asked to upload).. lol my timing now makes it look like I'm trying to get my "contribution ranking" up.. it's not that at all, I've been holding off waiting to release these all together as it makes it easier for me.

Perfect timing as always on my part!

One thing I will say that isn't so good.. the link button is missing from the editor toolbar... it was a lot handier than typing in the URL bbcode, I hope the button gets added back in!

All the best..

Conor

I agree with conor ... the new site looks great!

Along with the missing link button, there are no longer "code" or "color" buttons to allow us to more easily customize posts/responses.

Re: New zen-cart.com

I like the New Feel of the Site once I got used to it... it only took about 15 minutes.

I tried to upload a picture from my computer on a post and the button to confirm or submit the upload is not there. But the upload from your URL worked just fine!!!
Wish the Site Reviews was not all the way at the bottom. Most folks won't even realize it's there for feedback LOL

I'm happy to say that I created my monthly subscription donation to the site.... but can you please add a $20 monthly donation button.

One other small issue: When searching the "Plugins" for anything, I'm presented with a "Results 1 to x of y" with no additional content.

All of the content is still indexing. The benefit, when the indexing is finished, is that search will work across multiple content types. eg forum/addons/showcase etc.

The Plugins search problem is fixed now. Thanks for your patience.

Re: New zen-cart.com

The new site looks great, well done to all concerned..

The only observation I have is when using Opera (11.62) as a browser and downloading from the plugins section - it defaults to offering the download as a .htm file. If you change it manually to .zip it's fine, but Opera doesn't normally work that way.

Just one issue I have.
I use Quick Links Drop down "Today's Posts" once selected the menu bar is removed/gone while you browse the list.
