Great mod, thanks balihr....not quite working for me yet though. I think my site (www.soccerinthecity.co.uk) likes the add on, but the ZX Slideshow configuration tool is not appearing in my admin. Been through the thread but yet to find anyone with a similar problem.

I think it may be connected with the Sql patach as, when I run it, I get "WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again"

You're using 1.5.0, right?

Did you run the SQL patch for 1.5.0 using Tools->Install SQL Patches? If so, then I'm guessing something went wrong so you might try Admin Page Registration manually. You'll need to check your database for the proper configuration_group ID (ZX Slideshow) and then manually register the page with these parameters:
Page Key: zxconfig
Page Name: BOX_CONFIGURATION_ZX_SLIDESHOW
Page Filename: FILENAME_CONFIGURATION
Page Parameters: gID=YOUR_CONFIGURATION_GROUP_ID
Menu: Configuration
Display on Menu: Check
Sort Order: YOUR_CONFIGURATION_GROUP_ID

Notice the red text. You'll need to replace that text with the configuration_group ID you found in the database.

OK, so, first of all, you'll need to access your database using phpMyAdmin and browse configuration_group table. It might be called zen_configuration_group or have any other prefix, doesn't matter, just find something that has configuration_group and browse it. The ZX Slideshow should be at the very end of the table. Check configuration_group_id column and see what id is associated with ZX Slideshow.

If ZX slideshow isn't there at all, then you either didn't run the SQL patch or something else is wrong and I can't help you through the forum. If it's there, move on.

Go to admin -> Admin Access Management -> Admin Page Registration. You will then see a list of fields which you'll need to fill as I described in my previous post and click insert. When that is done, you should have an entry in the Configuration menu.

It supports PNG files, I just tested on my demo install. However, keep in mind it doesn't support transparent PNGs - the slider is based on Nivo Slider and you can check their second FAQ here.
