Here it is.. There are 5 places where you set the number of products per row to display. But this setting alone is not all that needs to be adjusted to make your grid product display pages look good.. The number of products to display per page needs to correspond to the number of rows or you will have odd looking page displays.. In the example below, the sample settings shown are based on all the pages having 4 products per row.
Configuration > Maximum Values Products on Special 8 New Products Module 8 Upcoming Products 12 Categories To List Per Row 4 New Products Listing- Number Per Page 12 Also Purchased Products 8 Maximum Categories Products Display List 12 Maximum Display of Featured Products - Main Page 8 Maximum Display of Featured Products Page 12 Products Listing- Number Per Page 12 Maximum Display of Specials Products - Main Page 8 Maximum Display of Products All Page 12 Configuration > Index Listing New Products Columns per Row
4 Featured Products Columns per Row 4 Special Products Columns per Row 4 Configuration > Product Info Also Purchased Products Columns per Row 4

So my question is whether when someone uses product listing style in SNAF for the specials page ( for example ) the maximum number of products displayed should be:
1. determined by the product listing setting (Products Listing- Number Per Page)
2. determined by the specials page setting (Products on Special)
I can't make up my mind. The first one makes sure all the listings are the same automatically. The second one means that you have more flexibility.
Also, on that list of places to change things should be : configuration -> product listing -> product listings column per row.
The other settings for number of rows all have to do with the center boxes - which SNAF does not fiddle with at all.

SNAF version 1.2 has just been submitted to the plugins section. So, should be available for download in the near future. Please read the read_me file for more information.
The main added features are:
1. Added a few page elements to the product listing layout to allow easier styling.
2. Added a 'style changer' feature so that users can change between 'rows' and 'columns' themselves. This can be turned off.
3. Minor bug fixes.
The style changer has a couple of icons that are used as buttons. As has been mentioned in another thread (not that politely actually) I am not a graphic designer. So, the icons will probably need to be changed to match your own template. If any of the graphic design orientated people out there want to send me some lovely icons then I'll include them in the next release. Or post them so everyone can use them.

Any thoughts about expanding this plugin to cover the advanced_search_result page, too?
No, I had absolutely no thoughts of doing that at all...
But it evidently makes sense to do it. Which just goes to show how shortsighted one can be when you have your head in code. So, yes, now I have some thoughts about that.
I probably won't get to it in the near future though as I have just had my burst of developing on SNAF ....
