ZX Slideshow support thread

I have everything uploaded. how do I get the pictures to show up? I have the picture adjusted in the banner. What am I doing wrong?

I just recently had a contractor install Zx Slideshow on my site. We moved the slideshow banners up to the top of the homepage covering "header position 2" It works perfect on the home page. The problem comes when on any other page. The new banner appears about a half inch low. When the next banner appears the first banner pops up into position and can be seen behind the new banner. This continues as each new banner appears and kinda reminds me of flipping through an old spinning Rolodex. I need to know how to either remove the slideshow from every page except the home page or how to get the banners to align on the product pages. ZX Slideshow was meant and built to run only on home page. It's not a problem to get it working on other pages, although I personally suggest against it. As a customer, I'm not interested in watching the same slideshow throughout your site, it's annoying. Plus, you want your cusomers to focus on your products, not banners...

Anyway, you hired a contractor to install ZX Slideshow? I suggest you fire him and find someone who knows what he's doing because the current one obviously doesn't...
You're missing the stylesheet used for ZX Slideshow. Just copy everything from index_home.css and paste it in your stylesheet.css file. You can then delete index_home.css - as simple as that...

Did you try searching the forum or reading the thread before you posted? You should try that first... Here you are...

yea i ran both Sql patches provided .. results were 3 processes good and still didnt fix the issue then i ran the other sql and 4 processes were good... still shows up 3 times in config menu

Yes, it can be used on any other page. You'll need to use the code found in tpl_index_default.php on your other pages where you want it to run and move all styling from index_home.css to stylesheet.css

The simplest way of doing that would be to clone the module and use each clone for a page of your choice. Quite a lot of work and customization, thus beyond my level of forum support. Good luck.
