Actually, I am having trouble finding a way to remove the social media from the header AND the footer. For example, the instructions say to "Hide any of the Dropdowns' go to includes/templates/yorkshire_clean/css/stylesheet_mega_menu.css

    I should see these classes:

    .quicklinks-li
    .categories-li
    .manufacturers-li
    .aboutus-li
    .information-li
    .contactus-li
    .customerservice-li

BUT...when I open that file, none of the classes described are in that file?

    Also Anne,

Two additional questions if you have the time (by the way, I appreciate your responses!):

Do you know of a way to say that the main page has the left, center, and right column, but any other page has just the left and center columns?

On a similar note, if you go to www.ski-hats.com and look at the main page, you will see that the columns are much narrower than if you go to any of the subordinate pages (which are wider). I prefer the wider columns, but can't figure out how to define that for the main index.php page. Do you have any advice? I know the first thing you will say is to get rid of the custom pictures....which, even when they are removed, the columns are still very narrow for some reason...

Any help here would be really appreicated!!

I figured this one out....I am placing the custom code in includes/languages/english/yorkshire_clean/index.php

But when I extend the introduction text out to a paragraph like I do....the columns get smaller...too weihd....not sure about the solution yet. Is there a better place to add content in that center (main) column than the index.php file? I am putting that paragraph in the TEXT_GREETING_TEXT variable.

You will not see those classes. You need to add those classes that you want to hide plus the display:none if you want to hide them.

    Thanks,

    Anne

If you search in the FAQ's section you will find instructions on how to disable right or left columns on certain pages.

If you follow the admin--configuration--layout settings values in the readme.html file you will see how to set these.

    Thanks,

    Anne

If you want to add text to the main page use the admin--tools--define pages editor--define_main_page.php file.

    Thanks,

If you modify or change the template or leave elements out, then you need to do cross browser testing again. You will fix any issues in the css, not the php files.
Ah, ok, thanks Anne, will take a look at that.

Also, I would like to know if my products can be sorted by price range (similar to categorization by new, featured, etc...)?
