Suggestions for how to display all my products on my home page?

Hi.

Just wondering what would be the best way to display all my products on the main page? I've got 30 or so products I like to show.

Just looking for suggestions and different opinions.

You could use the settings in the Configurations ... Layout Settings ... for:

Always Show Categories on Main Page
0= off
1= on
Default category can be set to Top Level or a Specific Top Level

Then set the Category to open:

Main Page - Opens with Category
0= Top Level Categories
Or enter the Category ID#
Note: Sub Categories can also be used Example: 3_10

Almost there...Just no products showing up. There must be a conflicting setting somewhere. I looked in the max values in case it was set to disabled but couldn't find anything referencing the same setting.

I see 31 products on your site when I go to your Home page ...

Yeah. I was confused about the meaning of the term default in the category id setting.

But now I lost my main content in lieu of the products. I would like the products displayed below my slider. Also, it would be nice if the description weren't showing. Just image, name, price.

You could turn off those settings and set all of your Products as Featured Products and change the setting in the Configuration ... Maxium Value for:

Maximum Display of Featured Products - Main Page
Number of featured products to list on main page

It souds like you really want the featured products centerbox. Make all of your products "featured" and set that to display on the home page, and turn off the category on the home page.

Yeah. but the stock featured though. The template I have seems to employ a module to display that and it's not what I want. I'll have to figure out how to strip the module in lieu of the stock ZC featured products.
