Problems with Ultimate SEO URLs

ZenCart v1.5.1 Ultimate SEO v2.211


Will Ultimate SEO rewrite the URLs for existing products in ZenCart?

Left "extension" box empty, but Ultimate SEO is adding a string of alphanumeric characters.

Used "category", but it literally puts "category" and does not actually list product in category.

There were no errors shown on admin page when Ultimate SEO v2.211 was installed.

Thank you for the information. I had been to that Support Thread, but since this particular plug-in was so new to me, I just didn't get the big picture! We decided to go back and review everything and the settings. We changed the "Enable Automatic Redirect" to True and "Voila!" Ultimate Seo URLs worked like a charm!

I have a problem with ultimate seo ( 2.11 on zc 1.5.1 php 5.3 - apache ) and datafeed_shopmania_zencart

If I enable ultimate seo and run from browser datafeed_shopmania_zencart this do not works.. go on home page.. no messages, no errors.. and shopmania receive the code of home page..

If I disable ultimate seo datafeed_shopmania_zencart works fine ! all right !

What can I do to solve ?

You have not told us what does not work. It would be in your best interest to tell us what exactly is happening, give us a link to your website, and also answer the questions found in "Posting Tips" (If you scroll up when replying you will find this listed). The more information you provide, the better chance someone on the forums will be able to help you :)

If the problem is when you access "datafeed_shopmania_zencart" you are not seeing the same URLs as you do when browsing your website, this is the fault of the "datafeed_shopmania_zencart" script. The script builds URLs pointing to your website on it's own instead of using Zen Cart functions (which means the code from "Ultimate SEO URLs" is not called to generate URLs).

The shopmania "script" has not been updated on the Zen Cart website since 2011. The last notes state "download it from the merchant account". As new versions are not available to the general public, I would recommend contacting shopmania for support. Maybe they have a newer version which integrates more fully into Zen Cart.

If you are unable to load for example "yoursite.com/datafeed_shopmania_zencart.php?get=options" and also unable to browse your store with "Ultimate SEO URLs" enabled, I would be willing to venture something was missed when "Ultimate SEO URLs" was installed.

Some good places to look for installation documentation and to get help are the README_ENGLISH.txt included in the downloaded zip file and the official support thread for "Ultimate SEO URLs" (newer than 1.5.0).
