Default Need Help With MYSQL DB

Since upgrading to version 1.50 I’ve had nothing but problems trying to generate a Product Feed file for Google Feed.

After trying Apsona, EasyPopulate, and Numinix Google Merchant Feed and finding that each is either missing some data or the mod just isn’t working I’ve decided to try and get the info out of the DB.

I know next to nothing about DB’s just the basics so I’m hoping someone already knows how to pull the needed data out of the DB and is willing to share.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

For Google Feeds I went with MagneticOne's Feed software.

Google makes way too many changes to try and run just a query to export daily for them.

It depends on the number of products/categories you have, but there is no way I would be able to export what I have with out it.

I do have queries for other 'non standard' sites that I could share, if that would help, but unless you have the google categories already mapped to all of your products, the $30 for the commercial feed software is well worth it.

    Thanks Limitless.

I checked out the MagneticOne website and their "Zen Cart Google Base Data Feed" looks like just what I need.

What version of Zencart are you running? Has it given you any problems?

    Thanks for the info,

    Thanks for the info,
    I'm running 1.5.

    The feed software runs great.
Take your time mapping the products to google categories. After that, its set and forget.

Google has given me more problems since switching to the 'paid' model.

It looks like MagneticOne is a winner. I was able to generate and submit a valid feed to Google and only 24 out of 8750 items were rejected. It does take a long time to match your categories to Google's but once its done you're good to go. I don't even care it cost $30, I would have paid twice that for a working solution.

    Thanks

    Glad to hear!
