This is NOT true.. you will NOT wipe out the contents of the folder.. The prompt is because it recognizes that you are copying over a folder of the same name.. Saying yes will NOT wipe out the CONTENTS of the folder.. You will simply upload the content that does not already exist in the folder.. Test it out for yourself to confirm what I am saying..

Unfortunately many older or free FTP programs do not use accurate user messaging, giving folks the impression that uploading a folder of the same name as an existing folder in the target location will replace the folder in the target location. This is in fact NOT what will happen.. In my previous message I included a screen shot of my FTP program which has a much more accurate user message which more accurately describes what actually does happen if you upload a folder where the folder already exists in the target location..

What is the best size image to upload for IH3 , currently I'm using 800x600 jpeg . What would be optimal for IH3 ?

Also when I click on 'Larger Image' a browser window opens but it is very small. I have included a picture below . Is there anyway I can change it to open a larger popup ?

You can upload any size you like.. the issue with your popup looks like an installation issue..

I had problems like that with 1.37 and fixed it with the stylesheet but I surely can not remember what I changed, sorry

but on the other hand you could install zen_lightbox and not worry about that...lol it works great with IH3 especially if you have additional images too

The small popup still points to an install issue and it's unlikely it's an issue with the stylesheet. I would bet there are errors in the error log which are causing the popup to fail to render correctly..

I have just had to patch my sever plesk 10 ubuntu to meet PCI requirements,

Part of the change involved disabling auto-indexing on the web server. I have disabled this and I believe as a result my images will no longer show up on the websites.

in my logs I get : httpdocs/bmz_cache/.htaccess: <Directory not allowed here

and

httpdocs/images/.htaccess: Invalid command 'IndexIgnore', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration, referer:

please can you help with this. Do I need to change the htaccess to reflect the restrictions. Please respond as soon as possible ...both my live sites are not showing any images...

Dear volunteers (!),
I've spent the last two days reading, reading, reading after searching, searching and searching...

I've understood many more things than before, but I still have two problems I cannot find the solution for.
(btw, running as on my signature on ZC 1.3.9h, with IH3, with LightBox... )

The first one is about the size of the images I get my items showed in the "specials" page...(main page, not sidebox)
It seems to me that this size cannot be changed if not changing it also in the product info page and I guess I'll have to put my hands in the code directly...
Will this affect how IH3 handles THOSE images ? Is there something I should be aware of ?
At the moment it seems to me that IH3 does not apply anything to those images... is this correct ?
How could I have IH3 take charge to display middle size overing images ?

Second problem (and this MIGHT be caused by another addon... Google-Froogle Merchant Center one indeed... not sure...).
When the above mentioned addon prepares the list of items to pass to Google, it might catch the image information from the original images, or it might use the ones prepared from IH3 (which in my case would be better, since I would like to publish the watermarked ones).
Everything works perfectly, but the small problem is that the image link passed to Google is the item image, but without watermark !!!
I've double checked, thinking of finding the solution on the XML feed pointing at the wrong image folder...
But it is not so !!!
The XML feed contains images from bmz_cache folder, but those images are WITHOUT WATERMARK...
And I've checked the contents of the bmz_cache folder: it contains TWO versions of the image, one is a copy of the original one and the other one is the watermarked one !!!
Beside obvious problems of wasting of server space, how can I have that addon pickup the correct image ?
Is the "copy of the original, not watermarked" a middle step which IH3 uses to build the watermarked one ?
If it is so, I could just look at the Google-Froogle Merchant Center addon (abandoned since long time) and try to fix it...
The question is: how can be a "non-watermarked" image be present in bmz_cache folder ???
