Glasgow Neat Template Support Thread

hey anne, i finally moved my zencart from my localhost to a live webhost today, everything is working fine, but when i change my templates to glasgow neat, it gave me this error:

WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

how could i fix this?

Check your /cache or /logs folder for errors and correct them.

I just installed the Glasgaw neat on my site (hookafrog.com) which is a 1.51, a bizzard thing happens: "cart" on top and "Brands" in the menu are showing php code. I was hoping you would have some idea where I can go to clean up or modify a file.
the other two templates I had used are "classic" of course and "smooth_green".
Woth mentioning also is that when I was copying the "include" folder, there were about 3 or 4 "failure to copy the file" not "overwrite".
so I chmod 777 'incluide", but with the same result.
any ideas you may have??....thanks

Also in includes/templates/glasgow_neat/common/tpl_mega_menu.php file, change the short tag in line 76 so its:

I have these changes noted for a future template update.

The failure to copy problems are not template related, but on your server.

If you are talking about adding brands to the drop down menu, it wil automatically populate once you have added products to the manufacturers.

Kind of a dumb question I guess but I wanted to see if you've heard of this. My site is now, all of the sudden, getting a 500 error on just the home page and quicklinks. Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.easyonthetush.com/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

On a different browser I get WSOD.

The only big things I've really there are the site title and taglines. From what I've read with people who've had similar problems, sometimes it is the front page slideshow. Had you heard of the slideshow causing a problem with people and is there a way to fix it without outright disabling it?

The slideshow is not the problem ;) This error is host related. I would contact them about it. Who is your web host?

Hi Anne,
This is quite a good template and all the info that goes along with it it´s very helpfull.
However I am stuck with one problema. I can edit the width of the dropdown menu size (submenú), however I cannot add more space for all the characters of categories to be displayed on the same row. It still goes to two different rows. I don´t know what do I have to edit.
Could you help me?
