ZX Slideshow support thread

Nope, still getting a little "loading" thing in the content area and actually I'm now seeing that it's all messed up when I got to my "about" and "the buzz" pages. I want the slide show to run on the home page only..

You're missing something and I'm not sure what... Can you post the content of your "includes/templates/mdd/templates/tpl_index_default.php" file?

AMAZING! Thank you! I am so glad there are people in this world with special talent for this! I figure so much out on my own, but my head was about to explode with this one! Thank you so much!

Yeah, seems I'll have to put that in the next version. But, I'm afraid this might cause even more problems because in most cases, tpl_header.php is modified so they would still need to merge the code... If you have any suggestions, I'm willing to hear it.

Just make sure the code is well commented so it's EASY to spot when merging the code, and put good notes in the readme to make sure folks know to use a file merging program.. Other than that there's not much more you can do.. Alo you might want to make additional options so that folks can turn the slideshow on only on the home page and make that also an admin configurable option.. (will help users have more available options while keeping them somewhat out of the code to get the options they want)

Is there any way to remove the black line at the bottom and the text? So it's just pictures showing up?

I'm back hoping someone can help! If you go to my site in Chrome (I don't see this in Fire Fox) you can see broken images below the slide show and I'm not sure if they are connected to the slide show or I've done something else wrong to my site!

Yes, you can remove the captions. Edit index_home.css and find captions (somewhere around line 438) and change ALL opacity settings to 0.
