When I update to mailbeez 2.7.5 it stops working. The Email Templates pop ups are blank and it does not send emails.
I have changed the code in functions_email.php as stated in support but still it does not work.

    Hello all,

Our programmer installed version 2.80 on a 1.51 installation of Zen-Cart. The site has been running for a number of years and upgraded over time.

The Birthday Greeting is in simulation mode and whenever I click on the buttons for the mode (Email Templates, Recipients, Send Test Email, Run this Module) it pops up an overlay window that displays the site homepage. Our programmer suggested that eval() function was not enabled. Checked with the ISP and they verified it was running. Our programmer then suggested that I inquire here on the forum as she checked the server logs and zen cart logs and did not see a problem.

Thanks in advance for you help!

    - Bryan

    hi bryan,

    please try following:

    1. make sure you have checked the FAQ on http://www.mailbeez.com/support/

    2. go to mailbeez > configuration > Mailhive Basic configuration and set Popup Mode to "off"
what do you see when you hit one of the button?

    3. make sure your mailhive/common/template_c directory is writable - also empty this directory

    4. check your /cache or /logs directory for "myDebug" files - any hit there?

    hope that helps forward?

    regards
    cord

I reviewed the document and do not see a match to this issue in there.

Done. It now creates a new tab of my home page. No errors, 404 messages or anything like that. Just the home page.

Dumb question but is that 777? Hopefully so, as that is the current setting on the directory. I deleted all of the files in the folder, but that did not help.

Nothing for myDebug in cache. In /logs there were a few of them but the issues were not related to MailBeez.

Please let me know what you think.

make sure the "mailhive.php" file is located in your store root - try to access it directly with http://<yourstore>/mailhive.php.

In case the file is there review your URL rewrite rules and eventually exclude "mailhive.php" from being rewritten.

Hello again. The file is located in that area (public_html). If I try to access it directly (http:/yoursite/mailhive.php) it just brings up the home page. I tried an invalid URL and got a 404 so it definitely is there but not displaying correctly.

We are using Ultimate SEO 2.212. In that mod you specifically tell it which files to allow rewrites to. mailhive.php is not listed in there but other Zen files are (index, contact_us, product_info, etc). I don't see a way to specifically exclude a file.

I tried accessing it in the rewritten format (mailhive.html) but that generated a 404. I even tried adding it to the included list but it brought up the home page with the php extension and a 404 with html.

Based on all of this testing I don't think the file is being rewritten but I could be wrong.

    Thanks!

I guess you have an additional rewrite rule in you .htaccess which does the redirect?

feel free to contact me on helpdesk at mailbeez dot com if you want me to check your system
