Seperators in Menu tabs

site is http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/subaru i would like to have a vertical seperator line (or pipe if this is what its called) between the links in the top menu, basically the same as what is in the menu in this forum, also how do i get the hover colour box to be deeper so when it is hovered over the secondary colour highlights the whole menu bar between the pipes....... Hope that makes sense......
