I searched editable centre boxes support thread and got a no result, I tried some other search term variations again with no result - I have no doubt whatsoever that such a thread exists but the search system in here leaves a lot to be desired in that it is very brad based, but alas I digress.

So you see Diva I did make an effort to find the appropriate thread - I find it really great with some of the plugins I use that the plugin page actually has a link to the support forum, very efficient, very thoughtful, very ....

Please give me the a link to your support support thread and I will post both the problem and the resolution in one single suitable post for the benefit of others - the 'file merge' requirement is a problem for many of us novices, both in interpretation and implementation - I have learned something so I will pass it on.

Not that hard to find at all.. From the Editable Home Page Centerboxes description:
Editable Centerboxes is a simple module which adds three editable "centerboxes" to the home page. I got the idea because I was trying to do something similar to this:

* http://osc.template-help.com/wt_27414/index.html
* http://osc.template-help.com/wt_26807/index.html

One of these days I hope to figure out how to use this to show specific sideboxes in the center content area. (The Testimonials sidebox for example) In the meantime this module will give store owners the ability to edit and manage the content in these boxes

Each box has an associated defined page which can be edited using the defined pages editor. The included stylesheet allows you to modify the look and feel of these boxes. Please note that the height of each box is fixed (and controlled in the stylesheet). I've been messing around with using CSS so that the height of all three boxes is dynamic and controlled by the height of the longest box. (Still working on that..) In the meantime, it's easy enough to modify the box height. Just remember, in order for the page to look good, these boxes aren't meant to hold PAGES of content anyway..

Ready to get started? Just follow the installation instructions below.

Any questions?? Just hit the forums: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149391. I always STRONGLY recommend with ANY module that you read the entire support thread before posting questions.. You may be surprised to find that your question has probably already been ASKED and ANSWERED.. Remember the forum is "manned" by volunteers.. In my experience, thread searching is a surprisingly EASY method to find answers..
!!READ EVERYTHING!!

I very strongly recommend you read through the entire Readme file BEFORE installing.

On some occasions when I have believed the query could / should be 'tackled' by 'both' I have been chastized for double posting whilst in some cases it did require collaboration between the two parties to obtain a resolution.
Double posting is not useful, and you were "chastized" when it was clear that your question might be better served posted in a more appropriate place.. I am a BIG beleiver that posting in the RIGHT place benefits the community so that future viewers can get the answers they need.. I find stuff ALL the time on this forum because people have posted questions in a place where the answers can be found instead of being buried in an unrelated topic/post.

Okay then.. Please don't take this the wrong way, perhaps YOU need Anne to guide you, but I don't need Anne's PERMISSION/GUIDANCE to "determine" when a post is OBVIOUSLY NOT related to TEMPLATE support.. Neither does anyone else who posts in this forum.. and please note that Anne AGREED with my assessment of your posts (NOT directly related to this template as much as they were GENERAL Zen Cart or other module support questions)..

Glad you got your issues all worked out.. hope you'll share your solution in the Editable Home Page Centerboxes support thread..
