Make Telephone field appear on Edit page (checkout_payment_address)

Hi,

I played around a bit and couldn't figure it out (basic PHP skills) and searched here and didn't find the answer.

A customer logs in or enters his info on main_page=login. The next page, Step 2 of 3, is main_page=checkout_payment and there's a button on top if one needs to edit the billing info. After clicking that button is main_page=checkout_payment_address and the telephone field does not appear.

Can someone explain how to include the telephone number on that edit page? (No mods or adjustments affect the sign-up or login process.)

You have 3 info from customers when an order placed

1. customers
2. shipping address
3. billing address

the telephone displays on create account page, it does not support for shipping and billing. If you want to do that. You need have to add something in your code.

That's the question- add what and where to make the Telephone field appear? All my products are virtual so there's no shipping info.
