Dover Fine Responsive Template

does anybody know why my admin area has started to load blank after installing dover fine onto a fresh install of zencart 1.5.4 ? had no joy with finding a solution searching the web, performed two clean installs already

I have tested the template package with 1.5.4 and there are no compatibility issues.

Check your logs for errors and correct them.

scrap that .... admin and site are accessible but now cannot make any changes to layout boxes .... checked the log and .............. [03-Jan-2015 10:17:20 UTC] PHP Fatal error: 1054:Unknown column 'show_box_min_width' in 'field list' :: select layout_id, layout_box_name, layout_box_status, layout_box_location, layout_box_sort_order, layout_box_sort_order_single, layout_box_status_single, show_box_min_width from zen_layout_boxes where (layout_template='classic' and layout_box_name NOT LIKE '%ezpages_bar%') order by layout_box_location, layout_box_sort_order ==> (as called by) /admin_folder/layout_controller.php on line 241 <== in /includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 155

theres nothing in EZ-pages on the admin backend, if this can be fixed by replacing a file then thats an option for me as theres really nothing to loose on the website at the moment

PROBLEM SOLVED ! was an absolute mess

BUT one last problem thats been evading me for a week is how to get the slideshow images to show on the homepage, looked on the forum and can only find very brief answers

This means that the auto installer is not running properly. My guess is that you have not uploaded the admin side files of the template package.

If the template package is installed correctly, everything should work automatically out of the box.

hi anne thanks for the assistance, after updating php to latest this messed things up with php config for time and date on hosting server, got all that sorted now and everything is working, the slideshow images was down to pc configurations in chrome, they work fine on mobile devices and other workstations, again thanks for the help

Anne, this is by far the top free template I have ever seen for zencart. You did a perfect job with this.
I read through the whole thread and found some useful info about tweaking this amazing template, however,
I would like to ask for a little help :
I have changed the icons in the left pannel (as in our country we dont really use twitter, pinterest...ect), and
I decided to add there a FACEBOOK, LOGIN, SHOPPING CART and CONTACT US links.
All this is done, I just need when someone hover over the image, so it shows the hints (like facebbok, login or register, your shopping cart, kontakt us).


Please, could you help me with this? Just let me know what to write and in which file please.
