Hi Anne, thanks so much for the response. I did see the section in the stylesheet, but unfortunately I have no idea how to fix it. I see the demo works fine in ie8 - is there any way you can share any ie8 additions to that style sheet?

I no longer cross browser test for ie8. They are down to just about 1% off the browser market:

    Hi Ann,

I'm having problem getting Sheffield Blue Responsive to actually be responsive.
Text runs over the edge, or just can't be seen and the people have to scroll sideways.
I don't have a mobile device to check all this with. I've asked friends to send me photos/screen shots of what they see, and it's not good.
    My website is www.jenvinemporium.com.au/new_store
I have followed all your instructions to the letter.

If you search the thread or read the earilier posts you will find a patch for a bug that breaks the responsive layout that is related to the header and the tagline.

    Thanks,

    Anne

The problem is NOT with the header or Tagline, the problem is with text running off the side of the page and the person having to turn the mobile device sideways.
I have attached a couple of pics to show you what I mean.

I have a similar problem and havn't been able to locate a fix for it.

The site looks all good in landscape mode on the iPad (and I'm assuming all other mobile devices) but in portrait mode there are a few things that don't line up - see images below.

I believe that the fix I posted will fix these problems.

    Thanks,

In portrait mode the left hand column should not be showing. Is the responsive layout broken?

    Thanks,

    Anne

If that's the case, yes it must be broken because the left column is always showing. How can I tell if it is broken and where do I look for it?

In layout settings where it says to activate Responsive Template by selecting Column Widths, I have that set to 2. I tried all the different sizes and while it looked a little better in portrait mode (although still all over the place), changing these widths change how it looks on the desktop (for the worse).

It may just be me, but seems that if the left column is always showing no matter what size display nor device, then that's an issue of not incorporating the responsive template code correctly or haven't setup the side boxes appropriately.
