    Default Emails from site failing

    I recently upgraded to v1.5.4. Things are worse now than they've ever been and I have no clue why. The site is MUCH slower than it has ever been and customers are both complaining and leaving.

    What orders I am receiving are having issues with their email. The Welcome email, any email I send from the order, and order confirmations are coming back: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender. I assume customers are not receiving them. I also know a customer sent me an email about her "horrible website experience," but I didn't receive her email.

    My e-mail options are all set to my email address. I don't know what else to do.

    Your site is unusably slow, but it's hard to imagine the upgrade being responsible. What version did you upgrade from? Did you change hosts/servers at the same time? What is your setting in Admin - Configuration - Email Settings - E-Mail Transport Method?

    Try activating Admin - Configuration - Logging - Display the Page Parse Time and compare the results with this:

    Usually there's also an explanation and/or an error number (often 3 digits starting with a 5). That would be helpful.

    I don't know what the original version of zencart was for this site. It was too old for the changes that PayPal recently made.
    I switched from Hostgator to GoDaddy in the upgrade.
    The transport method is PHP.
    I've turned on the parsing...it doesn't look good, but I'm not sure I understand why or what to fix.

    How did you upgrade? as in what was your process,
    (have you tried installing a test zencart installation in a subdirectory to see what its performance is like)
    Are there any error logs being generated in the /logs folder of zencart,

    Assuming your site is the one mentioned above I cant access it as apparently something is misconfigured error 500

    Ok site speeds are all over the place

    Parse Time: 21.284 - Number of Queries: 683 - Query Time: 21.188343039

    about 3 mins after the last one, switching to view a product info page, which is what I did last time to get the previous reading as well

    I honestly do not know for sure what the process was. I believe they did a fresh install and move the database over. It was https://www.expertsfromindia.com/. Things seemed to work fine for the first week after they installed everything and it has gradually gotten worse. I don't know if it is their work or the database at Godaddy or something else.

    I would consider hiring someone else to fix it, but that is a challenge since sales have dropped so low. No one can order more than an item or two before getting fed up and leaving.
