I've just loaded the Westminter New template.

I'm having a some problems that you might find to be simple problems, having dealt with more issues than I have.

1. The pages load but the images for the products sometimes do and sometimes don't. Usually if I refresh the page, the images will load but sometimes I have to refresh a second time.

2. I looked enough to know that the Specials not showing isn't a problem specific to the template, but are you aware of a fix for this that I may not have stumbled upon.

What would be the easiest way to add a filter bar horizontally across the top? I need to filter by attributes but do not find an easy way to do it.

I would check the plugins section to see if something has already been written for this. If not, it will take custom programming.

1. This is not template related. All of the template images are loading. Only your product images are having problems. Have you tried installing image handler?

2. Try removing the includes/modules/westminster_new/specials_index.php file

I'll try the specials removal.

Am I better of uploading the images to the main directory or into subdirectories based on the first 2 digits of the model number. I thought this would aid in page load speed, but I'm afraid it contributing to this problem.

So how do you handle images with alot of model numbers?

By the way, changing the specials_index.php to specials_index.php.bak worked. Thank you!

I am happy that the specials are fixed.

I don't know if the numbered sub folders are causing a problem or if it is something else with your install. Have you tried installing image handler?

I tried loading the Variable Filter plug in and it failed miserably. I have now uninstalled the entire plug in and restored the pre-modified files but I am still getting the following code, it's done something to the template query files, apparently:

How can I change the homepage to display http://www.scholledresses.com/index....l&disp_order=3 instead of the default text or alternately, display the all products listing below the two main banners on the regular homepage?

Thank you I just searched the forum for homepage but didn't find anything applicable. Can you give me a better idea what to search for, please? Client is breathing down my neck at the moment.
