MailChimp Newsletter Sidebox

I Installed this sidebox and I get a blank page on adding products to cart, Login, contact.

The file creating this issue is mailchimp_sidebox_defines.php located in \includes\languages\english\extra_definitions

Site works fine when I remove this file.

Any help would be great.

This tells me you damaged the file while editing it to add the API Key, u and id. Double check your changes. You can always use "php -l" on your local MAMP environment to make sure your file changes are sound.

When I put it in the side box works great but I get blank pages. The weird thing is when I click add to cart on a product it goes to the cart but the page goes blank.

Installed per instructions. Works fine as a side box, but not on creating a new account.
I have followed the advise in this thread and within the instructions, still can't figure it out.

Quick question, looks as if MailChimp is up to 3.0 on their API. Since this Plugin states using API 1.3, is it still compatible with new MailChimp accounts?

Typically the changes are backwards compatible. You should be fine.

OK, so I'm logged into my newly created MailChimp account and when I select Signup Form, I have the following choices; General forms, Embedded forms, Subscriber popup and Form integrations.

I selected Embedded forms then the Naked option which has no css or javascript, just raw HTML to keep it simple. However, the id and u values are passed on the form action URL and not as hidden fields.

Do you think the plugin will still work with this newer method of posting to MailChimp?
