Is it possible to have an add to cart form on an exterior page?

It's been done before for version 1.5.1 but the code no longer works for 1.5.5. Is it possible to do this for 1.5.5? I'm thinking that there might be other hidden form fields that need to be added. Anyone have any idea?

What code is the code? Is that a plugin or some custom programming?

I've tested this out on 1.5.5 and it works fine, as long as the product doesn't have attributes to select:

example.com/index.php?action=buy_now&products_id=2

You don't need a form. Just a link with that format, and the substituting the product ID number for the one you want added to the cart.

Thanks, I just saw this. The site had a form on it with dropdowns so the whole thing needed be changed - 4 hours of my life I will not get paid for!!
