New products - has disappeared

Morning Guys, I seem to have "Lost" my New products from the Main Page And the Category list on my site.

Admin - Layout settings Categories Box - Show Products New Link is TRUE
Admin - Configuration New Listing has not been altered
Layout boxes - Sideboxes - Whats New is ON
I have just added 4 new products (Wax Burners) and they are on sale now and showing
I have recently been trying to add the MOD Color changes 1.0.2 but then removed the CSS and put my "OLD" CSS back in.
Could it be that?
What am I missing here?

Sorry, I cant recall where the setting is, but there is a config option that allows you to set how many days a product is considered to be "new". Perhaps this has been set really low?

Ps found it Admin>Configuratin>MaximumValues>New Product Listing - Limited to (try settung to "0")

Haven't had a chance to look either but, could it be that sale items are not looked at as "new"?

Thanks for taking a look
The number of days is set to 60.
I have added some new products this week so they should be on there.
If I change the number to 0 then they all show.
I will recheck my products as it could be I created them a few months ago but only switched them on yesterday.

Yes the problem was I added these new products back in May and as they have just arrived I set the available from date as monday this week thinking that would trigger the new products listed but it didnt.
Instead I have gone to the Database and edited the products table - products_date_added to yesterday and all is good again.
