This contribution has been updated to support API version 3.0. All other versions will be deprecated after 12/31/16 so please update!

In the new version, the 'class' folder is empty, no file. Is that correct? I've installed this but get a 500 error upon account creation. Just wondering if that's the reason.

Yes, I should remove the class folder; it's no longer used. 500 is an error on their side; not sure what happened.

Thanks for confirming about the folder. I'll have to look into the error then. Version 3 of your plugin works on the site but not 4.

I'm getting a 500 error with this installed on a vanilla 1.5.4 cart as well.

I tested it again and it looked good. Have you double checked the values you set in
includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/mailchimp_sidebox_defines.php

I did check the format of the page looking for missing quotes, etc. The same includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/mailchimp_sidebox_defines.php works when I use the 3.0 version of the plugin.

I'm so sorry if I am missing something but I have tried FAQ and everything. Installed on zencart 1.55 www.thedragonskeep.net
So I have installed everything per directions.

including the link as define('BOX_MAILCHIMP_NEWSLETTER_URL','http://thedragonskeep.us12.list-manage.com/subscribe/post'); in the extra defines file.

But when I type in an email address in sidebox I get a 404 and the link in browser is http://thedragonskeep.us12.list-mana...&id=ba6e8b302b with an extra ? if I delete the extra ? it loads my sign up form so I am confused.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please double check includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_mailchimp_sidebox.php (be sure it's the same as a copy from a fresh download) and be sure you don't have an includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/sideboxes/tpl_mailchimp_sidebox.php

OMG I finally got it to work thank you. I didn't have one in my template but must have had an old one from when I tried before in the template default. Thank you so much :-)
