How could one change the (first) admin user name?

Once logged in, should be able to modify the user name by going to admins->admin users, then select edit at the end of the row for that individual.

If since providing a "first" user the database has been replaced to upgrade, then the "first" user no longer exists as that is database contained information that was replaced with the "old" database.

Yes, made it, very easily found and done. I should have found it by myself. I guess I confused it with changing the password I wanted to do the last time, but I couldn't, so I left it. One have to do in the database or so, if I am right.

No, you can and should change the password from the admin area. The password is hashed and stored in the database in an unreadable state. In fact, logging in takes the provided password, hashes it using the same algorithm and then compares that to what is in the database never "descrambling" it.

You can change the password from the same window by selecting the reset pwd button (middle of three buttons for a non-logged in account and having the authorization to delete accounts or right button for the current user's account or if the current user doesn't have authorization to delete other users). As the superuser, you will have the standard 3 button for all other accounts and 2 buttons for your own account as you can not delete yourself.

Oops, yes, very easily found and done again. Obviously I confused all that one can confuse, the "Reset password" but is hardly to miss, do not know what I did the last time(s). May be I was in the wrong admin area, very strange. And, unbelievably, I mean to have read the password can only be changed in the database.

So that means you will never find your password in a readable state (but always decrypted).

It can also be changed for your own account by selecting the Account link in the upper "right" corner.
