    Default define main page

for some reason when I add content to my <define main page> in the admin area it does not show up on the main page. When I enter content on my page 1, 2, and 3 as well as all of my other define pages they work fine but for some reason the <define main page> just won't work.

    Help, thanks

Before trying to add to/modify it was there content?

The use of the define_main_page.php file may not be implemented in the current template. Suggest temporarily changing the template to one of the ZC default templates and confirming the load of the content.

So this statement is a bit loaded.

An upgrade was performed and using the default classic template (which isn't the default template when installing zc155). So. What template override files exist in includes/templates/classic/templates?
How are the files of includes/templates/template_default/templates different than the as provided (from this website) version of the files?
What is the history of the database?
How was the upgrade performed to get to what is currently installed?
After saving the change(s), if ftping into the files, does includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php contain your changes or are they in includes/languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php?
What are the permissions for either of those directories/files?

However stated, it appeared to me that based on the setting(s) that the define_main_page.php file ought to be shown if all else is correctly in place as originally designed and no issues with character sets, editor, etc...
