Version 1.5.5f Mobile template Header background Color how to change

Hi

Just upgrade my cart to 1.5.5f using responsive_classic template
Changed the background color of header navigation bar and on desktop changed no problem.
However when using mobile device header background remains very dark grey almost black.
Problem is that the 3 bars navigation link in the header is also black and cant be seen.
Tried to change in all CSS files mobile/template etc but it stays the same.
The other header links on mobile Home (little house) etc show as white--no problem.

Can anyone advise how to change background color in header mobile
or
how to change 3 bar navigation symbol color.

Css suggestions are best resolved by having access to the site so that can use F12 and locally test/identify changes needed. Meaning with a uri provided. Then there may be some additional information needed such as at which resolution the change(s) were applied/desired.

Understand also that a modified version of the css has been created for the responsive_classic template to make changes like you are seeking easier to find and apply. The original version of the template combines several components into one throughout the css.

Is it best to replace all the css files with the ones from 155a_Color_Changes-1.1a

I didn't change my color bars but I did change the color of the menu bars for mobile so they would better show against the dark bar.

In the template stlyesheet_colors.css I cut

, .header .fa-bars

from up top around end of line#3 where it is in a long list of things to be similarly colored, then I pasted it near the bottom, just before '/*bof placeholders*/' on its own with its own color, in my case white. Changing the color in original position would also have changed many other things to that color.
