Query does not return data

Actually I think I lied it was the google script that had all the database info was I able to use along with language Id=1 why I deleted didn't want someone having access to all my database information like that it I am correct pretty sure the store_ya returns a no title error on both store ya and google merchant. What happens when my adhd brain tries to work on 2 things at once get confused on what worked and didn't work. Yes I just used your additional language code and I get no title.

I just emailed store ya they need to know their code as is puts their customers at risk for sql injection and maybe they can figure out what the hell makes it so it just doesn't work right. Thank you again for all your help. :-)

Okay, so yess, I am a bit confused about what is going on, what happens, how any of it is triggered, etc... The no title response is clearly from storeya'... That appears to be from the fact that the applicable loop is not occurring and/or there is (as you suggested a few posts back) that perhaps there is some data in the database that when presented/output is causing an issue.

Now, on the entire sanitization issue(s). Yes, the original store_ya code offers the possibility of an external sql injection to the ZC database, shame on them. But, without fully embracing the database sanitization that has been generated specifically to support ZC 1.5.5 with backwards compatibility with the remainder of ZC 1.5.x, it is possible that there is something in the database that is not "pushed" perse properly, and/or could cause at least some of the data to be problematic.

Thing is, all of this can be tested out if you take it one step at a time...

First thing I would do is try to get error logging restored, otherwise while operating your store, you are pretty much flying blind. There could be countless errors occurring for which you have no record (at least in the logs directory). So whether it is verifying the authorization status (typically 755 or 777 for a folder) or it is validating that there isn't an extra file in the load process that is overriding the logs directory storage location, though I think there has been a discussion about this elsewhere in the forum.

Then, the code that was recently provided having just an addition of trigger_error lines being executed as "normal" with the generated logs reported back would help significantly to identify a further correction to the code to make it provide back what is needed.

I mean as far as I could see before, the whole language_id perspective was just some addition that someone squished into the code is/was not directly associated with what store_ya needed. I had previously searched their site, but I couldn't find anything that was of any help on the topic. So, certainly didn't have any interest in trying to dig further with no perceived gain other than overcoming an issue which I have plenty of others to do. (just saying I don't mind helping and figuring things out, but in this case looking for someone else to freely offer their information from their experience or their ability to access the tool). Anyways, if you are able to focus a little then it would be great to understand what is going on, how ZC is treating the "visitor" that is requesting the feed (ie. is it considered a spider and is something "unusual" occurring?), what "data" is fed to the code that is being run on the ZC site in question (regardless of "who's" code it is), what data is present during the processing, what is expected, etc... Otherwise it just seems like a futile exercise.

So I get other error logs up to ears in them trying to get google merchant plug in to work and when forgot to remove header code after uninstalling simple social share. Just when run either feed script not seeing any for the missing title so why think is some type of language, sanitation issue. The feed generates just storeya and google have trouble reading it specifically for title and imagelink it appears. I just don't understand why they haven't fixed yet if so many others having trouble... I'll see what I get for a response. Again thank you so much for your help.

So, understand that this "process" involves at least two systems. One is your server, the other is "theirs". I right now am interested in your server's error logs. The logs to which you have or should have direct access via FTP. The same logs that are described in this article: https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...-and-try-again

Yes, the "topic" is different, but getting to the information that has been logged is what is important to help at least with the store_ya code.

Now that said, also understand that store_ya and google merchant are two different "companies" in the sense that they each have their own expectation of how the data is formatted or presented. This is the same type of differences as say Blu Ray, HD, or just plain DVD. They all have "their" way of doing things. Throwing a bunch of data that is not specifically coded to work with the receiver doesn't really solve anything. Round hole square peg type problem.
Also, unfortunately, because someone is having a problem with something doesn't mean that the entire process is broken. Can't tell you in the last week of the number of creative ways that people have incorrectly installed some software that has been published to the forum. Between uploading files to the wrong location and only uploading some of them then wondering why only part of the software got installed. Great that questions are being asked, a shame that there are so many interpretations of upload all of the files in the directory (and other words that I'd have to look up in order to quote properly). It could be an unfortunate misintreptation or perhaps the format of the data to be provided has changed and the software on your site needs to be modified, or any other variables.

The big thing though was to ensure that the software being pushed/placed on your server didn't weaken the security controls that ZC has worked so hard to have in place and to protect the database and store files.

Deleted the files for now can add them back just didn't want to leave open for hacking. As long as I can get the feed to work seems to work on both storeya and google. I lied found the error logs ftp must not have refreshed when I told it to. :-)
