Missing submit button on Create Account page

Zencart Version 1.5.5f. not an upgrade.
installed using zc_install.
PHP version 7.4.23.
Westminster new version 1.3.

I've gotten a lot of helpful information on this forum and would like to thank everybody for that.

My latest problem is, I was informed today that the submit button is missing from my Create Account page. I don't know how long it's been missing or why. I tried switching to the standard template to see if that would help but it didn't.

Why are you doing a new install of 1.5.5f? That was released 2017-12-31 and will not survive running on top of PHP 7.4.

The missing submit-button is the lesser of your worries!

The button doesn't appear because there is a fatal error rendering that page which also causes the footer not to appear.

As @lat9 noted, this version is quite old (and not compatible with PHP 7.4); you should really upgrade.

Thanks. I've been meaning to upgrade. looks like I'll have to set aside some time to that.
