Create ezPages for another language

I'm using a lot of ezPages.
What is the best way to create them for another language?

It is more difficult than I thought.

Creating new ezpages does work as expected.

Editing an existing ezpage doesn't work because the other language version doesn't appear when I switch the backend language.

Can anyone tell me whether I have to create all ezPages again with another ID after adding another language?
Creating them is no work but repairing all broken links between them all definitely is.

Let's go back to basics. In what manner was the additional language added?

When you "Insert" a new language via the admin's Localization :: Languages, any EZ-Pages along with other language-dependent database entries are copied from the admin's current language to the newly-inserted one.

After 10 years I re-added English as a second new language via the admin.

Except the duplication of existing EZ-Pages everything seems to be working well.
