Is there a way to enable Always Free Shipping with FedEx REST API v1.2? The reason I asked is I would like to display the TEXT_PRODUCT_FREE_SHIPPING_ICON on product details pages and product listings pages and offer expedited shipping for items that are marked "Yes, Always Free Shipping" but if a product is marked "Yes, Always Free Shipping" it will not show the expedited shipping options.

It would but when you set a product to "No, Normal Shipping Rules" it removes the Free Shipping Icon from the product but allows the FedEx module to show the expedited shipping options as well as the free shipping option. If you change to "Yes, Always Free Shipping" the Free Shipping Icon comes back but does not show the expedited shipping options, only the free shipping option.

Correct, this is for order total free shipping.

The behavior you are described is part of Zen Cart; you'd have to write custom code to disable it.

Thank you for helping me understand. I've been using FedEx Web Services module for years and it had the option to Enable for Always Free Shipping to allow the free shipping to be show as an option as well as other expedited shipping methods and allowed the free shipping icon to show on all products marked as Always Free Shipping.

It seems the FedEx api maintenance last weekend didn't work very well. It looks like the API was down only for less than 20 mins on my end.
