Attribute Product - Setting Special Price

I have put three products on sale today that are priced by attributes, although the attributes do not contribute to the price at all; they're just options for people to select. (It's a surprise box of products.) I have marked them in Specials as 10% off and the price shows correctly when you go to the item, but once you add it to the cart it returns to the full price. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get them to charge the discounted price once they're added to the cart?

If you select one of those three, you will see the discounted price, plus the options for people to select. Once those are selected and the box is added to the cart, it shows the non-sale price. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

One of two options:

1. Remove the "Product is priced by attributes" setting for the products, since they're not priced by attributes.
2. Make sure that the "Discounted" flag (the fuchsia-colored one) in each of those products' attributes indicates that the product's discounted pricing applies when the attribute is selected.
