New product notifications?

Just a quick question. Is there anyway that i can notify existing website members when a new product is listed in the shop?

You could use the New Products centerbox:

You might also want to consider a newsletter where you talk about your new products.

You could create a new "product_notification" (Tools / Newletter and Products Notifications Manager) and then send it to all customers who have signed up for "Global" notifications.

I think i may end up doing that. But that process will be a manual process where i was looking for something more automated. Where i list a product and as soon as that i done then an email is sent out to all the site members.

You really have to be careful with your frequency. Once a month is more than enough. More than that and I'm smashing the unsubscribe button.

Yes you are right. You dont really want the customers to be bombarded with random emails too.
