Gift certificate: ERROR_GV_CREATE_ACCOUNT

When sending a gift certificate by email from admin, it gives this error when the user clicks on the link to redeem:

Error ERROR_GV_CREATE_ACCOUNT

This appears above the register account and login to existing account prompts.

When proceeding to login to existing account, it works and says:



Redeem Gift Certificate
Congratulations, you have redeemed a Gift Certificate worth $USD1.00.

The supplied gift certificate code in the email also does work. Please advise about the ERROR_GV_CREATE_ACCOUNT. Thank you.

1.5.5 is quite old; this issue might have been fixed in the nine years since its initial release. Your best bet would be to install a copy of the latest Zen Cart in a test folder and try this operation again to see if there's still an issue.
