Then thank you to cloakendagger for helping expedite the process.

erm I think cloakanddagger was very rude actually and deserves no thanks. He was twice asked for the contributions he/she needed and ignored the polite request both times. It just seemed that he/she wanted to play with whatever is there and had no real needs.
All the thanks should go to Ajeh and Kim and the rest of the dev team and not to someone who was trying to bully someone into action.
Sorry but this is just the way I see it.
Although Cloakendagger's actions, both visible in this thread and elsewhere, suggest that he was committed to trying to be part of a solution, I agree that in this thread that was expressed in an inappropriately and unnecessarily hostile manner, even to those trying to help. I also agree that all thanks should be directed to the Dev Team who were clearly already working on this already, and continue to do so.Originally Posted by Reesy

Not totally sure how to respond to the above comments about my efforts to gain a solution to the problem. But taking jabs at me after the fact is kind of cheep. You all look at this as a personal attack but in actuality it's just business. Some might have been happy waiting for the actual downloads section to be cleaned and made public, but for me, a developer that has many clients and a lot of money riding on the functionality and structural integrity of Zen Cart its immensely important that results happen relatively quickly.
When I saw people responding with comments like "I'm sure they are doing what is best. So yes, there is a reason. :)"
That didn't show me that anything was being done to accommodate the in actuality large scale need for a temp fix.
I highly doubt that being passive about this issue would have gained any response or immediate solution.
To the many that believe I was rude I truly apologize for how you feel. But in the end there was a solution brought forth regardless of what angle you look at it.
Giving credit is necessary, but it should be given to everyone here that posted and everyone that participates in the zen community that shows there desire to see a better future for zen cart the dev team and the overall success of everyone endevors.
This will be my last post.
I would like to ask two questions:
1) Anyone has a ftp space where we could upload the contributions we have downloads?, then we could use a entry page and point all our webpages to it to make it grow.
2) I've heard Zen cart is a child of OS commerce. I am some experienced in Zen Cart so: would be easy for me to change to OSC?, I mean, all what I have learned in ZC: is the same in OSC?. What are the pros and the disadvantages of this action?.
P.D.: I need an stable alternative to this if not a solution.
Anyway: Thanks for all to the Zen Cart Developpers, hope I do not have to change.
Please look up at kims post,
the old contributions are available the link is posted above in this thread...
What's this? Merlinpa1969 banned?
Nope - he withdrew...but the vast majority of people here would like him to reconsider and return; his help and support has been invaluable to many Zencart usrs, myself included.
Tony - the whole is bigger than the parts around here...and people do care.

Tony - please come back - we need you! You probably don't realise just how often your contributions have been useful to those in the community who couldn't do this Zen thing alone!
Personally when reading throught the forums I know I can rely upon your posts to give accurate information - it has proved invaluable on several occasions.
