Alternative Use for Banners

Hello,

I am using the banners as a means to allow customers to update their own special offers without using an FTP client (i.e. change the graphic), so they can update using the upload facility. It also allows tracking..

But I wish to have a banner shown for a particular page, for example. Banner 1 - Special Offers, only on the front page.

Is there any way to do this?, I have read all threads related to banners and can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.

Just making sure my fix doesnt upset anything else, as I have edited code not CSS ( this isnt possible just editing CSS ).

Therefore I don't want to post code people use, which possibly causes upgrade problems in the future. Will get back when done.
