Home and Log In please go away!!!

Hi All.

I'm having a mare removing the Home and Log in from the top of the page. I'm using the Future Zen Template and just cannot get them to go away( I've asked them but there having none of it) I've been told there in the tpl_header file but i can't work out how to find them?
I'm also have the same problem with the EZPages, Privacy Notice etc as well.
I intend to have the log in and home as part of my new task bar so while I'm here how will i move them into this. I suppose the next question whats the best way to add a css drop down menu.... I think i'm getting a little ahead of my self..

andy look in
includes/templates/future_zen/common/ you will find tpl_header.php
you can just remove the code for the links

save and re-upload

Thank you for your quick response.

I've looked for the future_zen file but common is not there. I'm reasonably sure (as a newbie that's not 100%) that i downloaded the template properly.
is there another possibility.
Is it possible to use the file in the template_default folder (or am i being totally thick again)

I'm looking forward to knowing what I'm doing.

Ok create a folder named common in the future_zen template folder

move a copy of includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_header.php into your new common folder and make the changes

I've read in my continued search to find the way solve this that i should delete lines 51 and 59. i've done this and all i get is a error on line 106.
has anyone got the code i need as im not that advanced to work it out.

Don't know where you read that Andy, but it's completely wrong, at least for the current version of Zen Cart.

The lines that you want to delete from the version of the file that you have now placed the the future_zen/common directory are 45-63, i.e. starting <div id="navMain"> and ending </div>.

To address the second part of your original question, you can make the Home and Login links appear in the locations you desire by copying the code that produces them in the header. (Essentially, move the code from one place to another.) I did this to put the navbar in the top of the left sidebar, as I didn't want a header spanning the whole site. If you want it vertically oriented, you will have to do some minor reformatting, like adding <br /> in strategic spots.

Thanks that worked perfectly, the thread i read was from 2005 so yep must have been a older version.
Thanks for future it does exactly what you intended it to, i recommend it to all you other struggling newbies out there.
As for removing the EZPages to Zen Cart links can you please point me in the right direction. I don't want telling exactly what to do, i need to learn for my self else I'll never really learn anything.
