I have tried for hours to figure this one out, but I've now given up.

How can I get rid of the Blue and Red colour from my links for ever! I can't seem to find this in the .css at all!

Also - if you perform a search on the site, how can I change the default orange shown in the 'Item Name' Bar.

I'm completely new to this as you can probably tell!

First convert you template to the template_default fileset so that you have only one stylesheet.css to deal with. Search here for the term template_default for the recommendations as to why this is favored.
This will take cre of the orange that is an image being loaded by one of the stylesheets.

Then in your css file find "a:link" and the color #3300ff this is the blur that you love, change this to what you want. Note: normally this is a quartet of colors 1 for the normal, 2 for when it is hovered over; 3 for the current location; 4 for places tht you have visited.
