Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

hi, i have 3.1.2 version of zen installed - with latest imageHandler.
However, when I look at image properties, either the medium image is BIGGER than my large image OR the medium image is the smae size as my large image.

What's you dimension setting for medium and large image? What's the size of the picture you're uploading?

the problem is happening on every image, not just a particular one. I only have options to set the maximum size on the large image. There is no setting to set the maximum of the medium image.

What are the settings for the following from Admin --> Images

Product Info - Image Width (Medium Width)
Product Info - Image Height (Medium Height)
Large Image Maximum Width
Large Image Maximum Height

If the image you upload is say 300 X 300 and your Large Image is 600 X 600 you will only get an image that is 300 X 300 because your image is not as big as your large image.

Do you have calculate image size set to true?

Is Use Proportional Images on Products and Categories set to true as well? If this is set to true you can not use 0 for W/H.

I' checked the above and for some reason product info width & height were empty? I swear I havent changed those...

Anyway , ive put in 300 x 300 and all is working well

You're most welcome! You might want to reconsider your 300 X 300 for a product page. That seems a little too big. It's a balance between size and load time. Perhaps 200 X 200 is a better compromise and if someone needs a bigger picture they can simply click on large image. Just a suggestion.

I just installed IH2 and the the hover images for the product listing page don't all work in IE. Some work and those near the bottom don't work. Btw, I also have the grid layout installed in case that may be an incompatiblity issue? However, it works fine in Netscape and Firefox.

Also, the hover images for the additional images are no larger then the images displayed and show the picture name. Anyway to fix this and get rid of the names on the pictures?

Or else, is there a simple way to remove the hover feature from the product info page totally, but still remain on the product listing page?

I am suppose to have 3 product categories per row, but for some reason it puts the 3rd image on a new line. This has only happened since I installed IH.

Any help is appriciated.

There is no problem with IH on your site. Your problem is you have 10 categories on your home page but you've enable 3 column per row in admin for display. Category #9 currently does not have a category image so the category titles is displayed and aligned top. Category # 10 is the start of row 4.

You probably want to optimize your category images.

The category problem is solved. You really need to optimize you page. Check your website out here: http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ Your images definitely need optimization and not just your category images either.

You're going to miss so many customers if you leave your site in its current state.
