I know this seems like a simple question, but I haven't found it clearly answered. How exactly do I upload images? Like, where do I need to put the images or whatever?

this maybe a script timeout error. You may be able to get around it with a custom php.ini script.

Sorry that was unclear. What I mean was, do I need to upload the imagines to a certain folder on my server, or do i need to keep them in the same root folder on my computer as my csv file is in... or...?

Easy Populate does not upload images, only data. The data you provide indicates to your store the location of the product image, relative to the store images directory.

Which simply means you need to upload the images separately, and if the path you provide is correct, they will show.

The 1st thing anyone should do with Easy Populate is create at least 1 product in their store via Zen Cart admin, download the "complete" file and study it to understand what it all represents. This is the best way to learn what is required.

Yes. I understand what you mean, but what I'm curious about is, for example, one of my images is shown in easy populate as "image.jpg" (for example), so if I add another image to another like, line, say "image2.jpg" where do i upload this image2.jpg to? I can't seem to find a specific place to put it.

This is off topic and is not an Easy Populate question.

Quite right Linda. I found an apt description in the dictionary for such types as you describe:

"A follower who hangs around a host (without benefit to the host) in hope of gain or advantage"

Thanks langer, I am using custom php.ini files in all folder of my site and I've increased the max execution time considerably.

I'm going to wait and see what my host says. If you have any other suggestions, they're all welcomed. :)

apinkpony11, that question is answered in several other threads or in the FAQ I believe. But I might as well answer here too.
In EasyPopulate, you only indicate the location of the images.
All images are located in the 'catalog/images' folder.
You upload them to the image folder or subfolders via FTP. You can also upload images via the ZenCart create item page or through other contributions, but it's just easier to upload via FTP.
Then you just indicate the location of the images in EasyPopulate.
If for a product you put product1image.jpg, the image should be in be in the 'catalog/images' folder. If you indicate a subfolder in EasyPopulate like 'clothing/productimage.jpg', then you need to upload the image to 'catalog/images/clothing'

MODERATOR NOTE: "catalog" here refers to the main Zen Cart folder on your server. You may have called it "zencart" or "store" or maybe you didn't even use a subfolder. In the Zen Cart ZIP file there was an "images" folder, which you uploaded to your server. That's where you put your product images. There are FAQ's on this topic.
