hmmm... which zip file do you have and where'd you get it?? My zip file's name is Quick_Updates_1.3 and I think I got it at ZenPortali. Maybe we have the wrong files?

Where is this download Quick_Updates_1.3? I can only find 1.1.

I actually went to www.zenportali.com and found the quick updates stuff there.

ETA: I'm totally embarrassed to post that I did NOT give adequate mention/credit for the support I got from Shane to install and get them working. I spaced it, Shane! I'm sorry! He really really helped me out!!!

Hello All--

I've posted some fixes to this mod, I've fixed the SQL statement so it runs correctly (some syntax problems in the original), and I've fixed the problem with descriptions being truncated. The problem was that this mod was using a text box for the description instead of a textarea.

Only the first sentence, above the taabed products lite is srill there !
All under the tabbed lite is erased.

Did you apply this fix? That might be the issue.

First question, where do I FTP the quick Update files? If I put them in root, the Quick Update admin folder will overwrite my existing admin folder.

Second, should I use the “SQL Query Executor” to execute the quick_update.sql? If so why is my system giving me errors about this file. Where does “SQL Query Executor” execute files on my system? Do I need the quick update files/folders in this folder? Do I need to change the permissions on quick_update.sql to 777?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, just to get started.

I also faced the same problem. After installed..no product was listed under "Quick Update" category....please help
